is now SOLDThis vintage Pyrex 1.5 quart oval Early American casserole dish with lid was a pattern introduced in 1961. It has gold early American motifs on a rich brown background. The motifs include lamps, salt/pepper grinders, bellows, mortar and pestle, corn, coffee grinder, federal eagle, jars and a trivet.
The casserole dish is 10 1/4" from handle to handle, 7" wide and 3" in height. It is marked "043 1 1/2 Q. PYREX Made in USA ovenware 12". The dish is not stained on the inside or outside and there are no cracks or chips. Some of the brown color is worn off along the top and bottom edges of the dish and a few of the gold motifs have tiny bits of the gold missing.
The glass lid measures 10 1/2" from handle to handle, 7" wide and 1 1/4" in height. On one handle is 943 036 and the other is marked PYREX. The lid is in good condition with no chips or cracks but it does have some scratches on the top.
