This vintage cobalt blue hand blown stemware has a very unusual shape unusual shape. It has a dark cobalt blue stem and base with a blue swirl bowl that has an extremely flared top that is almost clear. It is blown as each glass has a pontil scar on the bottom of the base. This one has me perplexed for two reasons. Who was the maker? Is it an old time saucer champagne glass or a weirdly shaped margarita glass? They are beautiful cobalt blue glass with a lot of tiny bubbles in the bowl and the rim. I know that they really beautiful..
Each glass is in good vintage condition with no chips or flea bites so look closely at the photos. It stand 5 7/8" tall and has a 5 1/2" rim with a 3" base. Each glass is a little different in its width at the top of the rim and holds about 7 oz. For lovers of cobalt glass this would make a unique, quirky. addition to your collection.
