Siesta Ware 1960's "for the CRUNCH BUNCH" snack jar with four wooden handle amber mugs or beer steins is a connection to the 60's, Each side of the jar has ivory colored enameled picture of a flat top haircut character surrounded by popcorn, potato chips and peanuts stamped on a dark amber glass that is barrel shaped.
The jar has wooden handles, a wooden lid, and has a gold band around it at the top and the bottom. It reads "for the CRUNCH BUNCH. The bottom is embossed with the Siesta Ware emblem and the number 7. It measures 10" tall with the lid on, has a 4.5´opening, gets wider in the middle, measures 7.5" from handle to handle, and has a 5" base.
The four matching steins or are plain without the graphic and are 5" tall. They also have the wooden handles and bands. They each have a 2.5" opening and hold 14 oz .of your favorite beverage. The bottom of the mugs have made in the USA, Siesta Ware, #14, 15,17, and 18.
Benner Glass Company trademarked the Siesta Ware line of glass in 1963. Siesta Ware is known for it's characteristic metal bands at the top and bottom of the glass, often with wooden handles and lids. The company was based out of Jacksonville Florida, but also had a manufacturing facility in Los Angeles California. This is a vintage Siesta Ware glass cookie/snack jar with wooden lid in EXCELLENT condition. We can't see any flaws on any of the pieces.
Great for watching football games and having a blast from the past would be great in a retro home bar.
