This pink Dogwood berry bowl is by Mac Beth Evans 1929-1932. The Mac Beth-Evans Glass Company was an American glass company known for its depression glass. It was located in Charleroi, PA and began in 1899. Before 1929, the company made hand blown glass and began machine methods in 1930. By 1935, the company had merged with Coring Glass Works in Charleroi.
The Dogwood pattern is sometimes referred to as Apple blossom or Wild Rose and is a deep mold, pressed, delicate pattern. This berry bowl measures 3 inches in height and 8 1/4 inches in diameter. It is a very pale pink and is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
