Antique French Alart Doll Shoes. Made in France. Marked as a size 9 and with the Alart logo and DEPOSE on the bottom. Original toe pompoms, grommets and shoe laces. Made of ivory kid leather that is still soft and supple. These shoes are finely stitched and are sturdy. The sole measures 3 and 1/4inches in length from toe tip to heel and 1 and 3/16 inch wide across the ball of the foot (the widest part of the sole.) Width of the middle of the sole is 1 and 1/8 inch. The width across the heel is 15/16 inch. Please measure your doll’s foot with a stocking on to measure for a good fit. These French Alart doll bottines are in good sturdy antique condition with no repairs of any kind. Some wear on the soles. Small separation at the bottom edge of one shoe by the heel. These French bottines are appropriate for Steiner and Gaultier dolls, Jumeau and other French and German dolls as well.
