Magnificent Box from the renowned firm of Tahan Paris dating from around 1875. Stunning Bronze inlay decoration. Overall wonderful condition for it’s age! Amazing patina on all surfaces. The only damage we can find is a small piece of the right front bottom corner is missing but not really noticeable unless looking for it. It can be seen in the pictures. Light wear and some very fine age cracking (see pics). This is a spectacular box from my personal collection! This beautiful box has the Initials engraved in the cartouche on the lid "ED" (I think). The key is present and works as it should. This box is fully signed on the inside latch. The dimensions are 6 1/2” long by 4 ¼” deep by 2 3/4” high.
