Sulphide Pedestal Paper Weight; Madonna & Child - Victorian
This technically complicated paper weight was made in France around 1860. It is believed the maker was Clichy (subsequently absorbed into a Sevres glassmaker). The combination of a medallion-type sulphide encased in scrambled coloured glass is particularly striking. Each one is differente. Condition excellent. Worldwide insured air shipping included in listed price. Nothing extra to pay.
