This item is a beautiful FRENCH GILDED CHERUB INKWELL. It is in excellent shape partly owing to the fact that it has been professionally re-gilded. The inkwell measures 5 1/4"H and 8 3/4"W. There is a lot of detail including a small swimming frog which is cast in the base just left of the right ink pot. The stand has what could be construed as a nautical theme with waves cascading over the front edge and on the lids to the inkwells.
