This item is a superb HAND CARVED BLACK FOREST FOX INK WELL. After bears, fox related Black Forest items seem to be most sought after. This particular piece features a pari of foxes , an ink well and a pen tray on the left side. The carvings demonstrate excellent detail with lovely color and patina. The figure measures 7"H and the base measures 7 1/2" by 4 1/2".
