This item is a fabulous looking HAND CARVED BLACK FOREST MONKEY NUT CRACKER. He is in excellent condition with superb color and patina. You have to love the expression. The cracker has a pair of glass eyes. It is a souvenir piece marked "DAVOS" on his leg. Much of the Black Forest work was made as souvenirs and it was frequently marked with a tourist destination, hotel, etc. This cracker measures 8" high.
