This item is an AIRCRAFT PROPELLER BOOK REST. This is a very British thing. We've purchased a number of items over the years in the UK fabricated out of wooden airplane propellers. This item is a simple book rest fashioned out of the tips of two propellers - one at each end. The rest measures 12 1/2" wide and is in excellent condition.
