This item is a fabulous LADIES FOLDING UMBRELLA. The umbrella is carried in a 17” long bamboo tube with a leather wrist strap embellished with a black silk flower. The tip, umbrella staves and ferrule are all 18 carat gold filled. The black silk umbrella screws into the bamboo case and extends to a length of 32”. The silk umbrella opens to a diameter of 21”. It is in excellent undamaged condition. It is the essence of high style. It is wonderful quality.
The umbrella is dated 1899 by UK registration number on the ferrule.
