This item is a lovely little HAND CARVED BLACK FOREST CHAMOIS INKWELL.This is a great piece of Black Forest. It is in excellent condition. The color, patina and quality of carving is exceptional. The stand features a Chamois standing on a rock escarpment. There are two inkwells which appear to be original to the piece. The stand is embellished with typical Black Forest subjects including leaves and branches. The base measures 8 1/2” by 6”. The stand is 8” high.
