Shawnee Smiley Pig Large Pitcher with Gold Trim 1940's - 1950's

Very cute Shawnee pitcher in the hard to find gold trim. Smiley has a factory flaw where a little bit of the cold paint didn't stick to his foot and a glazed over freckle on his cheek. See pics. When Shawnee produced pieces with flaws they sometimes decorated them with gold. He looks rarely if ever used. Measures 7 3/4" tall x 8" handle to spout. Marked Patented Smiley U.S.A.
