Sterling silver and turquoise eagle pendant by Native American Navajo artisan, Richard Begay.
Richard Begay was a seasoned Native American artisan whose work has been featured in the Smithsonian. He worked mostly with turquoise and coral and incorporated symbols from is Navajo culture. This piece is a classic example of his work, as it features feathers and an eagle, a sacred bird in Native American culture, and oval turquoise stones. There is a loop on the back of each eagle wing so the pendant will lay on a chain flat and securely.
Measures approx 2 3/4" long, 1" wide. Each stone measures approx 9mm x 5mm.
