Antique sterling silver mesh coin purse with short chain strap by E.A. Bliss Co.

E.A. Bliss manufactured chains and novelties from 1878. They moved from MA to CT in 1890, renamed to Napier-Bliss in 1920, Napier in 1922 and closed in 1999. A beautiful piece with its original warm finish, "kiss lock" style closure with blue cabochon stones, floral and swirl etchings around the frame on the front.

Measures 2 3/4" high (to top of clasp), 2 1/2" wide, 2 1/4" long chain.

Weighs 29.2g, 18.8dwt.

Marked: STERLING EA in a circle (EA Bliss hallmark)

Very nice condition, with some tarnish.
