Antique Jewellery Group
Antique Victorian French Opal Diamond Navette Ring 2.5ct Opal
£3,740 ~ $4,974
Antique Jewellery of Distinction
An exciting complement of family owned companies specialising in beautiful and distinctive antique jewellery.
A striking antique opal navette cluster ring from the late 19th Century built around a mesmerising natural opal cabochon in the centre (approx. 2.5ct) that has been marquise-cut to match the gallery.
The opal displays a beautiful medley of colours that fade and intensify with the light and is framed by twinkling rose-cut diamonds around the border, with an additional diamond on each shoulder (approx. 0.28ct total).
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the natural beauty of planet Earth or the aurora borealis.
The ring is fashioned in 18ct gold with silver diamond settings. It features split shoulders at the side with floral engraving and a French gold eagle mark on the band. It’s a fabulous piece, showcasing a gorgeous natural opal that looks wonderful pointing down the finger.
We recommend you insure for £4,050. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
