This attractive, embossed "To My Valentine" card features a full-colour inset illustration of a young, fair-haired girl with a big, blue hair ribbon clutching a bouquet of flowers. This sweet, little die-cut folding card has the following verse inside:
"Here's a little secret, promise not to tell; If you like me as I like you, You like me pretty well."
There is a picture of a little boy whispering in a little girl's ear in front of a garden wall above the verse. The card is inscribed with what appears to read "Rowland Luft".
This old, valentine card measures 2.5/8" x 3 7/8" (approx.). It is of glossy, light card stock with strong, vibrant colours. It is in good condition with a modicum of the attendant signs of age and wear. This charming piece of early 1900s-era ephemera / St Valentine's Day-related memorabilia is eminently suitable for displaying. It should appeal to vintage valentines collectors.
