If this ring could talk about itself, it probably would tell you that it has been worn by many generations of elegant women! Well crafted around 1830s, with quality material, (18K solid gold and silver), the elongated marquise shape ring features 5 pearls with high luster and very good nacre in spite of the years that went by. One pearl must have been replaced, at some point, and is slightly whiter than the other creamier pearls. The pearls are flanked on each side with 7 rose-cut diamonds. One small rose is missing, but it takes a 10X loupe to really notice it. The pearls are of varying sizes (between 2 and 4.5mm) with the larger one taking center stage. The rose-cut diamonds are approximately 1.5 to 2mm wide.
The full one inch length of the face of the ring and the intricate gallery give an elegant allure to the ring. In the nineteenth century, these rings were often used as engagements, and if you like traditional wedding, this ring is absolutely the right one for you.
