This is a fabulous flower cluster ring dating to the 1950s. Crafted in solid gold it features a two-tier structure. The first level forms a crown of 10 natural sapphires for a combined 0.70ctw. The crown supports a cathedral illusion setting with a lovely round-cut diamond of approximately .08ct. The most spectacular gallery adds to the architectural appearance and sets the last, diamond tier, a good 9 mm above the finger.
The shank is not without its own appeal. It is flanked on each side with a motif of 4 hearts on a millegrain base. It covers approximately 2.5cm each side of the band but stops before reaching the bottom making the re-sizing of this beautiful ring possible.
This ring is quite unusual and breathtakingly attractive. It is in excellent condition, and can be used as an engagement ring, or be worn on a variety of occasions.
