Description: Antique pocket match safe, matchsafe or vesta made of sterling silver. This match safe has engraved design of a three leave clover surrounded by beautiful and elaborate scroll design on one side and has very well done and decorative engraved monogram on the other. We believe the monogram maybe spelling HGS. The vesta has a hinged lid with curved top and a striker on the bottom. The edge of the match safe on which the lid rests is marked with the word "STERLING WHW 201" on one side and no markings on the other. The lid hinge works well and snaps in place as it should.
