Black and White Cat Salt and Pepper shaker set Porcelain c1940 Japan

A rare pair of porcelain black and white funky retro kitty cat salt and pepper shakers, hand painted and marked Japan. The Black cat is Pepper with 3 holes for dispensing and has yellow/green eyes. The white cat is Salt with 2 holes for dispensing with black eyes. Black and white are glazed and colors are painted over glaze each has original stopper and marked S or P on necks. These beauties are a must have for any S&P or Unique Kitty Cat Collector. We are dating these to c1940 but may be much older. I

Condition: Excellent. No nicks, chips or repairs. Some small marks are original to set. Please look closely at all pictures.
