A rare art glass pitcher and glass set by Fenton named Dot Optic White French Opalescent which dates to 1934 - with a clear base glass with white dots.
Note: There is also French Opalescent Coindot where the dots are the color of the base glass and production of these started the 1940's.
The Pitcher is 8 1/2" tall with an opalescent crimped ruffle top rim and in excellent condition. There is a thick clear glass attached handle (you can feel a small little rough area at end of attached handle from cut). Looking at pitcher through light you can Bubbles, straw marks, specks, swirls and one seam. You can also see small little crimp marks under ruffle top. A beautiful piece of Vintage American Craftsmanship :-) which is over 80 years old.
There are 6 tumbler glasses which where individually blown and not exactly the same in thickness or dot design, each measures approximately 3 5/8" H x 2 5/8" in diameter. The condition of the glass is excellent no cracks but they all have small chips or flea bites on rims but looked to have been smoothed out.
