A set of 3 uniquely marked aqua blue canning jars all embossed with, MASON’S PATENT NOV. 30th 1858 with porcelain lid inserts and zinc lids. All rims are a rough cut.
I’ve had these together for years so I’m selling together.
1 - 5 ½” tall jar also has the hero’s cross on back side. Bottom is raised with: PAT NOV 26 67 and a 76 in the center.
1 - 7 ½” tall jars has patent information on front and a raised 4 on bottom. The zinc lid is marked with Genuine Boyd Cap for Mason Jars on top.
1 – 7 ½” tall jar has the patent information on front with a large Hero’s cross below Mason. Bottom is raised Pat NOV 67 will a line.
Condition: Very good. Have been used. No cracks or chips. Rims are rough cut. Smooth all over scuffs on bottoms.. You can see many bubbles, waves and straw marks in glass.
