Print of a vintage hand colored photo by Rudolf Eickemeyer, Jr. He won first place at a New York Camera exhibition in 1902 for his 9 photo series of the whistling boy. This is one of the images from that series. It shows a barefoot boy whistling walking down a dirt road with and apple basket and lunch basket. (Some of the others, the boy carries a fishing pole, just a lunch and some with empty baskets.) This is the 1901 print from the Campbell Art Studio. The print is in great condition with no water damage, holes or tears. Set in its original frame that measures 12-1/2 inches wide and 15-1/2 inches tall. Frame has normal wear for its age. The verso back paper is slightly torn. If you would like a new back paper, please let me know and I will have one put on free of charge.
