A colonial man hunting food in the countryside. His trusted hunting dogs and horse wait as he hangs the days hunt from the saddle. This is an original early 19th century oil painting on stretched canvas. I see a monogram KC in the lower right corner. The painting is still in great condition with no holes, scratches or water damage. Painting measures 11 inches tall and 16 inches wide. Set in an old frame that measures 14-1/2 inches tall and 19-3/4 inches wide. Frame looks nice with the piece but does have some scratches and missing paint around the edges commensurate with its age.
