This Painting is stunning and well done. It depicts a lovely morning scene in the woods. It has a misty dew look. Signed lower left, W. A. Eyden. When I had it out of the frame to clean the inside of glass, it is also titled on the verso of the painting, ‘#8, Early Morning in the Woods.’ (Covered by backing.) The gouache watercolor painting on paper is in great condition with no water damage or foxing. Sits behind frosted low glare glass. Painting measures inside of mat 19-1/2 inches wide and 13-1/2 inches tall. Set in its original frame that measures 26-1/4 inches wide and 20-1/2 inches tall. The frame is showing its age from the early 20th century with small cracks at corners and light paint loss. The top back edge of frame has a dent on the edge. (Once on a wall will not be visible.) I had a new hanging wire put on as the old one was unsafe.
