A young girl in pink with a kitty cat muff. This original watercolor is adorable. Painted by a New York commercial artist in 1959. Her husband Eric worked for the city painting the big bridges in Manhattan. Somehow this ended up at the high end Turner Gallery in Denver, Colorado. I was fortunate enough to find this in a quaint little store in Denver, Colorado. On the back is the full provenance and story of this delightful piece. This lovely watercolor is signed on the lower bottom right corner, ‘M. L. Trick’. The painting is in great condition measuring 5-1/2 inches tall and 5-1/2 inches wide. Set in a 1960’s wooden frame measuring 10 inches tall and 10 inches wide. Frame has a few tiny flaws. This painting would look great in a retro decor room.
