A raccoon leans on a rock pile. Titled on the verso, Bandit on the Rocks. Signed lower right, S Zabinski. (Zabinski was former name. She is now Blackwood.) This cute 1980’s painting is in great condition with no water damage, holes or tears. Inside the double mat the painting measures 10 inches wide and 14 inches tall. Set in a newer golden frame that measures 17-1/2 inches wide and 22-1/4 inches tall.
Several years ago I contacted this artist about this painting. I am including a copy of that correspondence. Also attached to the verso is a 1986 newspaper article about the artist and original gallery tag.
