This is the Laur. Knudsen Electrical Manufacturing Company in Copenhagen, Denmark. The blue and white soup bowl is in great condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Please note, all bright white in pictures are reflections from the camera and not chips or cracks. The bowl measures 8-1/2 inches diameter and 1-3/8 inches tall. It has place on the back to put a hanging wire if you would like to display on a wall. This has the 1957 Royal Copenhagen makers mark with the number 4495 in green and three blue waves with FUX. It is also marked at the bottom with the Laur. Knudsen factories logo.

Laur. Knudsen, Mechanical Establishment. Started in 1893, by Laurits Peter Knudsen as a watch and chronometer shop in Colbjørnsensgade. Later, the manufacture of electrical equipment was made, and this quickly became so great that the watch and chronometer manufacturing had to be abandoned. After Laur. Knudsen's death in 1917 the business was sold, while the factory was transferred by a joint-stock company under the old company name with Herman Jørgensen and BAJM Petersen as directors. Herman Jørgensen was for 40 years in connection with the company, from 1903 as an engineer and from 1917 to his death as director. In 1919 a new factory was started in Haraldsgade, and the entire company was moved in 1921. This is the 1957 picture of their building at that time. (translated from Danish)
