Three children tend to growing plants. This is an original limited edition woodcut print. Numbered, Titled and signed at bottom in pencil. ‘Together We Grow, 24/100, Sr. Mary Charles 1985.’ On the verso is a dedication to a Girl Scout Council member. Inside the mat the print measures 9 inches wide and 11 inches tall. The nice frame measures 12 inches wide and 15 inches tall.
Sister Mary Charles (Molly) McGough was active and lived in Minnesota.  She is known for iconography, traditional icons, wood cuts, sculpture, ceramics and watercolor painting. Born April 18, 1925, in Cloquet, MN.  She received a Bachelor of Arts from The College St. Scholastica, a Masters in Education from the University of Minnesota, and a Masters of Fine Arts from Notre Dame University. Sister was commissioned to do many creative or artistic projects for various organizations and for churches of many religious denominations. Her work established relationships with and provided art for Temple Israel and for Greek Orthodox, Lutheran, Presbyterian, and Catholic churches. Died Sept 2, 2007 at St. Scholastica Monastery in Duluth after 61 years of Monastic life.
