A row boat sits in front of thatched roof homes. In the distance you can see across the fields a windmill ready to churn harvested grain into flower. This is a nice old oil painting on Devoe art panel board. The painting is in great condition with no scratches, holes or water damage. A small 3/8” spot of inpainting can be seen with a UV light in the sky. Not noticeable with naked eye. I scope all my paintings and check them under UV light. Painting is monogrammed by the artist lower left, H. M. C. The name on the row boat is Wilda. The painting measures 10” tall and 16” wide. The original frame measures 11-1/4” tall and 17-1/4” wide. Frame has paint loss commensurate with a 19th century frame but still looks nice.
