This is a embossed game bird print from an old calendar that was cut to fit inside this frame. The print does have a couple scratches in the picture but still looks nice in its vintage age. At the top is some very light printing about cider but mostly illegible. The calendar does not fit tightly to top corners due to the calendars original size. The real value is the 1920’s tramp art frame. It is a six layer hand notched wood frame assembled in the typical tramp art way. The frame measures 13-1/2 inches wide and 18-3/4 inches tall. It will take a picture that measures 10-1/2 inches wide and 15-7/8 inches tall. The exposed part of the calendar inside the frame measures 9-3/8 inches wide and 14-5/8 inches tall. Frame still looks great with no deep nicks or dents. There is light wear at corners which is normal for a frame like this in its unrestored state. The original back paper has become brittle and is flaking off. If you would like a new back paper please let me know and I will have it put on free of charge.
