Two Canada Geese are watching over a nest of eggs. It is signed by the artist in the lower right, Bob Haynes. Titled on the verso, ‘Yours, Mine and Ours.’ Number 851. I see no scratches, holes or water damage. It is a 1980’s oil painting on board. The painting measures 14 inches tall and 18 inches wide. In the original frame it measures 20-1/2 inches tall and 24-1/2 inches wide. I see no damages on this piece. This biography from the Archives of AskART: A painter of wildlife, historical Colorado scenes as well as impressionist landscapes, he was born in Kit Carson County, Colorado, and raised and educated in his home state. First involved with cartooning in high school in Denver, he pursued this interest via correspondence courses. Haynes attended the University of Denver for a year and then entered the U.S. Army. He returned to art full time (after his tour of duty) by attending the Colorado Institute of Art for four years. He has worked as a commercial artist throughout his life, including in the Graphics Department of the United States Air Force Academy where he worked for 15 years until he retired in 1996.
