An Indian war party is hiding in the forest watching settlers in a wagon train. This painting was museum mounted with a triple mat and UV glass to keep the painting from fading in direct sunlight. I see no water damage, holes, tears or foxing. The painting is signed in the lower right, M. F. Robison. The watercolor measures inside the mat 13 1/2 inches tall and 18 1/4 inches wide. The frame measures 21 inches tall and 26 inches wide. On the back is a label from a Mount Vernon, Washington Gallery.
