One day my Father-in law was going through a old wooden box in his attic and found this lady who is one of his great Aunts. The name was long forgotten but this little treasure is ready to find a new home. The photo was taken in the late 1800’s and has been permanently soldered into this old locket. At one time it had a pin to be worn a a broach but has long been broken off and lost. The front glass does have some scratches from use but I see no water damage or tears in the photo. There is a small piece of metal that is missing on the back. The picture measures 1-1/4 inches wide and 1-3/4 inches tall. I am not an expert on Jewelry so I am describing this as I see it. Please refer to all photos to get a better idea of this piece. I can picture this attached in a shadow box with vintage gloves and other trinkets from the past. I am selling at a low cost because of the metal missing on the back.
