A man sits painting an oil painting of George Washington’s birthplace home. Vintage glitter has been applied to the edges of the house and fence. This is a 1860 to 1910’s Chromolithograph print by McLaughlin Bros. of New York. Printed on a heavy cardboard paper it does have a minor wrinkle at the right edge from manufacture. Hardly noticeable unless looking for it. I see no scratches, holes or tears. The old litho number 2005 (not the year) measures 14 inches tall and 18 inches wide. The original frame measures 15-1/2 inches tall and 19-1/2 inches wide. Frame has scratches, wear and paint loss commensurate with its age. On the verso the original paper backing had come off so if you would like new paper please let me know and I will have it put on free of charge.
