I love to find unusual items to offer my buyers. This set of 3 horses are original photos that were meant to be published in a magazine. I am not sure which magazine but it was in the 1950’s. On the back of the photos instructions were given to enhance the horses. On one I can see where they did exactly what the editor said. You have to turn the photo to the light to see it. Examples, Set tail and fill background, brighten eye, clean out brittle patch, nine a shade in throttle, Bill Cunningham, As soon as possible. Another says, Faustiana, Remove back ground, set up tail don’t make too long want a good high tail, This is a yearling, fine a little in throttle, take lead strap off this side of nose, The last one says, remove background, extend lead, remove man, rush for this issue of magazine. These photos would look lovely framed. Please look at all pictures one the borders is light wear. This can be covered with a frame or you can cut it off. The photos are attached to heavy paper board. The photos measure 11 inches tall and 14 inches wide. These horses are majestic and beautiful. If you love horses you can frame these for display.
