The sun has set and the street lights have lit. The soft glow from the windows lite the way for a group of friends walking down the narrow street toward the church on a hill in Paris, France. This is a nice view of the Basilica of Sacre-Coeur Dome from one of the small walking side streets. This is a hand colored stone etching made in the mid 20th Century. It is signed and titled in pencil on the bottom, Montmartre - Rue Saint Rustique, M. Jacque. At the very bottom left the word Original is written almost obscured by the frame. I see no scratches, holes, tears or water damage on the etching. The plate mark measures about 8 inches wide and 10-1/2 inches tall. The original frame measures about 11-1/2 inches wide and 15-1/2 inches tall. Frame still looks great for its age.
