The Native American Indian Scalp Dance of the Pottawatomie. This serigraph screen print is signed and titled by the artist at the bottom in pencil. It was purchased in the 1970’s from the Garden of the Gods Trading Post in Colorado Springs. The original tags and artist info is attached to the verso. The silk screen print was made by the artist and measures inside the double mat 9 inches wide and 12 inches tall. I see no tears, holes or water damage. The original wood frame measures 20 inches wide and 24 inches tall. Frame still looks great. Attached to the back is information by Woody on the Scalp dance.
Woody Crumbo is a highly collected Native American Indian artist and exhibitionist of original indian dances. He is known for his outstanding silk screen prints and paintings.
