Beautiful young woman’s portrait. This is an original watercolor painting on art paper. Signed lower left by British artist, Winifred Wimbush (1884-1958). She was known for her watercolor paintings that were used to make propaganda post cards for WWI. Her father Henry Wimbush was also a noted artist from England. The circa early 1900s painting is in great condition with no water damage, holes or tears. Sits in its original frame behind glass. The painting image measures 4 1/2 inches wide and 6 inches tall. The frame measures 8 1/4 inches wide and 9 3/4 inches tall. The back of the frame has a loop to hang on a wall.
