Each painting has a lone gondola making its way down a Venetian road, through a canal in Venice, Italy. In the background is a foot bridge over the water. It is easy to see why Venice is so attractive to everyone as it is so different. They call their canals roads which can only be taken by boat. In fact, it is easier to take a boat, then it is to walk when going from one place to the other. These watercolor paintings were done by the Venetian artist, signed in the lower right of one, Sari. Painted in the 1960’s, the paintings have no tears, water damage or holes. Paintings inside the mat measures 6-1/4 inches wide and 9-1/4 inches tall. The original frames measures 15-1/2 inches wide and 18-1/4 inches tall. Frames have light wear and scuffing commensurate with there age.
