This is a pair of Grandpa’s reading glasses. They have a golden metal frame with loops that tuck behind the ears to keep them from falling off. Since they are similar to mine they seem to be close to a +1.0 prescription. The glasses do seem to be slightly tinted. They are in their original hard case with the name C. F. McConnell of Los Angels. The case is metal covered with leather. The eyeglass are 4-1/4 inches wide. Length of ear loop 4-1/4 inches long. Width between nose pads about 3/4 inch. Each glass measures about 1-3/4 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches tall. The glass look unscratched. The ear loops have some kind of early plastic covering that looks like bamboo.
