This link style "cocktail" bracelet dates to the 1940's - early 1950's. It is of gold vermeil over a silvery base metal which was then enameled in a rust red color. White round rhinestones were added to the central floral medallion. Also added were bright red and dark red rhinestone baguettes. Each leaf and petal was carefully enameled in dark red - enameled with such skill as to leave a perfect gold border around each leaf and petal.
With such skilled craftsmanship I would have expected the bracelet to have been cast in silver and artist signed, but no. No maker's mark at all.
No damages or repairs.
Using a rouge polishing cloth, the gold vermeil on the front side of the bracelet will shine brightly. The back of the bracelet will also polish up nicely showing the silvery base metal along with the remaining gold vermeil.
