Measurements: TOP: 1/2 inch square - WEIGHT: 4.8 grams of 14kt white gold
This pair of unisex cufflinks was most likely produced in the early 1900's. They are without damage or repairs.
The identical octagonal double sides are beveled; each edge having a slight three dimensional decorative design. The top of each link shows machine turning created in such a way as to leave an undecorated, bright gold surface pattern of abstract flowers and fleur de lys. Please enlarge the photos to more clearly appreciate the labor intensive design work.
The reverse of the links is gold vermeil. The 14kt mark is clearly visible on the flat link connecting the two sides.
