A pair of vintage pewter framed ceramic wall plates or plaques, made in Germany. The frames are 9 inches diameter, the ceramic pictorial plates are 6-3/4 inches. One plate depicts two barefoot boys eating grapes and bread, the other is a scenic cottage landscape. The plates aren't marked. The frames are marked Rein Zinn 95% Etanpur and SKS Design with an angel logo. Rein Zinn translates to "Pure Pewter" in German - it is not the name of a company.
The set is in very good condition with no dings, chips, or damage. Both have keyhole hangers on the backs. The plates can be removed for cleaning or replacement if you have others you like better.
