This large 1950s pottery platter depicts a turkey scene incised in green on off-white with a green airbrushed rim and wheat motifs on the handles. The big turkey stands in front of a rail fence with wheat fields and a barn and silo in the background. It measures a generous 19-1/2 inches by 12-1/2". The back is marked Bell -Calif.- USA ©. The company was known as Bell Pottery and Bell Ceramics. There is crazing to the platter, otherwise it's in perfect condition with no chips, flakes, or other damage. Please note that what looks like a scratch to the upper rim in the first photo is just a glare spot.
