A fancy 1950s cardboard Christmas putz village house or building decorated in an unusual manner. The front of the blue and white gabled roof building is open to show a diorama scene of a thin celluloid church building in front of a double glass mirror framed in tiny red mercury glass beads.
Above the mirrors is a red foil star, and off to one side is a chenille bottle brush tree arrangement with a little mercury glass candle and wired mercury glass bead ornaments. The floor and roof are dusted with silver glitter. Strings of red mercury glass beads form a fence bordering the outside of the building.
The building measures 5" wide by about 3 inches high. The glue has loosened at one corner of the beaded fence but they're all there and undamaged. One of the mirrors has some spotting but both are intact. There's a foil label on the underside reading Hand Made Japan.
