This 1 liter (nearly 34 ounces) copper tea or water kettle was made in Sweden in the 1920s or earlier by the Knut Eriksson Company of Eskilstuna. Designed to be used on old coal or wood cook stoves, it has a flange ring above the base to fit into the stove burner - the ring does not preclude use on modern stovetops. It has a short gooseneck spout, swing handle, and classic curled copper knob finial on the lid.
The tea pot is 7-1/4 inches high to the top of the raised handle, 6-1/2" high to the curled crown lid finial. Overall width is 7 inches, diameter across the base is 4-1/4" not including the stove ring. The interior is tinned and has water staining and sediment. There are two pinpoint dings on the lid, one on the body. The handle is marked "Knut Eriksson & Co., Eskilstuna, 1 Lr".
