Sixteen Mid Century decorated Shiny Brite silvered glass Christmas ornaments. Four are loose, the rest are stored in a vintage 1950s wax candy container box for Santa's Candy Filled Boots, priced at 5 cents each.
The ornaments are 1-3/4 to 2-5/8 inches diameter. All but three have Shiny Brite metal caps, though I'm pretty sure two of those are Shiny Brites. Four ornaments have white mica snow frost decoration. Six have stenciled scenes and greetings. Four are decorated with painted stripes or bands, and two are double indents.
The red and white box in which the ornaments were found has some wear and penciled writing on the lid but it's fine for ornament storage and collectible in its own right. Most of the ornaments have some mica loss, finish wear, or small scratches but no chips, breaks, or major wear.
